Logistics company says more than 100 U.S. trucking companies are using software
Kuehne + Nagel will use cloud-based software to better track and communicate with container drayage haulers, giving the logistics operator better management of freight moving to and from ports in the in the United States.

Switzerland-based Kuehne + Nagel said more than 100 U.S. trucking companies have started using IAS Dispatch since the software was rolled out in September. Kuehne + Nagel said it plans to expand software usage to trucking companies in Canada and possibly other parts of the Americas.

HALIFAX, NS -- In the run-up to Christmas Halifax International Airport stole the march on its rival in Moncton, with Icelandair Cargo mounting a weekly freighter service from PEI to the Belgian city of Liege via the carrier's hub in Iceland. The airline is using a Boeing 757-200 freighter on the route, which can carry 40 tonnes of cargo.


BAE Systems Regional Aircraft intends to open a support and services hub by placing a quantity of BAe 146/Avro RJ and Jetstream 41 consumable and rotable spares into an existing Miami warehouse facility to serve its growing customer base in the Americas for these aircraft. For these services BAE Systems will develop a partnership with Kuehne + Nagel, who provide regional logistics aerospace support solutions globally and will support BAE Systems in Miami as part of the ‘Supply the Sky’ aerospace logistics portfolio.
